Rev.Fr.Reymond Henry Michottee

G.F.F. Foulkes, the then Zamindar of Salem, opened the school on 2nd June 1930 For the office, a clerk specially trained in St. Joseph's High school, Cuddalore was appointed. The office was located in the tiled building of the Little Flower Elementary School. The school was started with 70 students and four teachers. Rev. Father R.H. Mischotte was the Headmaster and Correspondent.

Rev. F. J. M. Arulnather S. J

On completion of the high school building, the office was shifted to the High school in June 1932. The diocese of Salem requested the Brothers of St. Gabriel to manage the school. These brothers managed it till December 1935. Bro. Corentin was the Correspondent and Mr. Norbert George, The Headmaster. The school was handed over to the Jesuits of Madurai Province in Jan 1936. Rev. F. J. M. Arulnather S. J. was the Headmaster and Correspondent. Under the administration of the Jesuits, the strength increased and in a couple of years, the admissions had to be a restricted due to the limited accommodation.

Rev. Fr. J. X. Sundararaj S. J

Rev. Fr. J. X. Sundararaj S. J. was the Headmaster and Correspondent of the school from 1939 and was in office till 1945. It is during this period that the evacuation took place and the Burmah Shell company occupied the whole school building. The company constructed new thatched sheds to accommodate all the classrooms. On the Superannuation of Fr. J.F.X. Sundararaj. S. J., Rev. Father Antoine S.J. managed the school till 1950.

Most Rev. Vemani S. Selvanather, D.D., D.C.L.

Bishop Of Salem

Most Rev. Vemani S. Selvanather, D.D., D.C.L., the first Indian Bishop of Salem, turned over the management of the School to the Salem diocesan fathers. The school grew and became one of the leading educational institutions of Salem and of the state. Strength in both the high school and the elementary school grew enormously. An English Medium Nursery was started to feed the English Medium section of the high school. The diocese immediately sponsored educational improvement proposed by the Government and the school became Little Flower Multipurpose School with Engineering and Agriculture as vocational courses. For some years, to fill up the dearth of teachers, the Little Flower High School trained teachers, offering short course. Mid-day meals, a Book bank, and school uniforms were all introduced in tune with the proposals of the Chief Ministers of Tamilnadu.

Rev. Fr. V. S. Pushpanather

Rev. Fr. V. S. Pushpanather took over as the Headmaster and coreespondent in June 1950. Fr. V.S.Pushpanather not only changed the policies of his predecessors slowly and steadily changed the very look of the school building in his long tenure of twenty three years. Rev. Fr. V. S. Pushpanather was a loving father. He readily offered help to everyone who approached him for help. He rightly earned reverence from everyone who came in contact with him. To him 'Duty is Worship'. Under his able leadership the school earned laurels both in the curricular and extra curricular spheres. He introduced diversified courses, which paved the way for the introduction of vocational studies for the Higher Secondary students. He was a good hockey and football player. He organized "Victory Day" in the school to encourage winners in games and sports. Rev. Fr. V.S. Pushpanather stood for values such as devotion to duty and discipline. A new science laboratory was built with the contribution of the public and was named "Pushpam Hall" to commemorate his Sacerdotal Silver Jubilee. He earned a great reputation for the school. He also earned the Tamil Nadu State Award, "The Best Teacher" in recognition of his meritorious service. He retired in 1973.

Rev. Fr. J.H. Kulandairaj, M.A., B.L., B.Ed.

Rev. Fr. J.H. Kulandairaj, M.A., B.L., B.Ed., succeeded Rev. Fr. V.S. Pushpanather in 1973. He was selected by the State Evaluation Unit and trained as the Master Educator to Guide Headmasters of various selected schools in the Salem Educational district for the implementation of the New Syllabus in their respective Schools. He was also a trained Resource Person for the Internal Assessment Scheme. As an Epigraphist, Rev. Fr. J.H. Kulandairaj earned an international recognition from The Hague for his archaeological papers on the Indus Valley civilization. He was also a good composer of Carnatic songs.

Rev. Fr. S. Arul Rozario. M.A.,B.T.

Rev. Fr. S. Arul Rozario. M.A.,B.T., a Tamil Nadu State Awardee as Best Teacher succeeded Fr. J. H. Kulandairaj as Headmaster in 1977. He encouraged teachers to adopt a practical way of teaching subjects, especially Science and Economics. He motivated teachers to be committed, to set noble examples and serve as models for the young generation. He passed away while he was in service in 1984.

Most Rev. Michael Bosco Duraisamy. D.D. M.Sc., B.T.

In 1974 Most Rev. Michael Bosco Duraisamy. D.D. M.Sc., B.T. became the bishop of the diocese of Salem. Having been himself a headmaster for over ten years, he knew the importance of education and the cordial relationship between teachers and the management. During his tenure, the school was upgraded as a Higher Secondary institution with fully equipped Labs and an Engineering workshop to meet the scientific needs of the staff and students.

Most Rev. Dr. S. Singaroyan assumed responsibility as the Bishop of Salem diocese on 18.10.2000. As he had been in the field of higher education, he demands that the schools of the diocese, including the LFHS, maintain a high standard in discipline, sports and learning.

Rev. Fr. Jothi Fernando. M.A., B.Ed., succeeded Rev. Fr. S. Arul Rozario in 1984 and served till 1986. He was a great writer and lover of Music. He trained students in cultural fields and worked hard for the development of the school.

Rev. Fr. S. Arulappan. M.A., M.Ed.

Rev. Fr. S. Arulappan. M.A., M.Ed., Succeeded Rev. Fr. Jothi Fernando in 1986. He was Headmaster till 1990. His appreciable works were introduction of Y.C.S, Y. S.M, Interact Club, Quiz Club, and Eco Club in the school. Installation of a training centre for IAS, IPS Exams, Entrance Coaching Classes, Construction of Pucca terraced building for elementary school, Mini-Zoo & Computer Centre. He ensured a high percentage passes in 10th & 12th public exams.

Rev. Fr. C. Gabriel

Rev. Fr. C. Gabriel became Headmaster in 1990 and held the position till 1996. His tenure saw construction of 10 classrooms, a workshop for the general Machinist group and Construction of a Compound wall behind the school building, along the school garden. The Diamond Jubilee of the school was celebrated during his tenure. During his tenure the strength of the school was the highest among the schools in Salem City.

Rev. Fr. M. Zacharias M.A., M.Ed.,

Rev. Fr. M. Zacharias M.A., M.Ed., succeeded Rev. Fr. Gabriel in 1996. His contributions are renovation and painting of the entire school building, construction of a wonderful library for students and an air-conditioned prayer Hall, named, "House of Prayer". He Issued identity cards to all the students. He constructed a beautiful staff room, extended the computer centre and equipped it. He Planted trees along the eastern compound wall. He inculcates discipline and maintains high results in the exams of 10th & 12th standard students in the Government examinations. He started Periyar University Distance Education Study Centre. He installed the Platinum Jubilee Memorial Mineral Water Plant to provide safe drinking water to our students.

Rev. Fr. S. Arulappan. M.A., M.Ed., Succeeded Rev. Fr. M. Zacharias in 2009. He was Headmaster till 2011.
